Anton Chigurh

Anton Chigurh is a fictional character in Cormac McCarthy's novel "No Country For Old Men" and the subsequent 2007 film adaptation directed by Joel Coen. Portrayed by Javier Bardem, Chigurh is a ruthless and calculating hitman who stalks and kills people without remorse or emotion. Despite his lack of emotional connection, some characters in the story perceive Chigurh as a force of nature rather than a human being, making him one of the most memorable and chilling villains in modern literature and film.
